The Victorian Government has partnered with over 70 organisations to stage a month-long celebration of small business in June called Energise Enterprise 06 - Victoria's Small Business Festival ( held to coincide with the ICSB World Conference in Melbourne).

So if you are looking to start, build or better manage a small business, then Victoria is definitely the place to be this June, with over 250 events on offer across the State.

Energise Enterprise 06 promises to offer expert advice from some of Australia 's leading entrepreneurs and business representatives through a broad program of conferences, information sessions, training workshops, seminars and networking events.

Energise Enterprise 06 will cover small business issues including: business start-up, exporting, franchising, the new Industrial Relations Policy, business networking, marketing, grants, succession planning and family businesses - to name just a few.

The Minister for Small Business, Mr André Haermeyer, said that the festival “will have something for everyone – no matter whether you live in Melbourne or regional Victoria, or whether you're starting, building or diversifying a business.

The majority of events are free to attend but require bookings.
